SPI class #103 graduate Scott Borden retired after almost 33 years with the Ohio State Highway Patrol to be appointed to Campus Police for the University of Rio Grande, in southeastern, Ohio. Scott retired as a Staff Lieutenant (assistant district commander) from the Jackson District of the State Patrol in January and began his new Chief duties at the University on February 1, 2011.
