Its a Full Time executive position with the City of Prospect. Responsibilities are management and administration of an 8-10 member, 24 hour / 7 day police department for a suburban city in the Louisville, Kentucky metropolitan area. Qualifications are for a sworn police officer with five years experience in supervision of patrol officers, management of budgets, and ability to work with executive management team of small city. Bachelor's Degree in law enforcement preferred. The skills needed are working knowledge of criminal law and city code process, experience in personnel management, accomplished in written and oral expression, ability to work effectively with confidential information, ability to take direction and work cooperatively with executive management team of small city.
